Celebrate Shabbat Across America! Friday, March 2, 2012

6 pm - International Pot Luck Shabbat Dinner
7 pm - 15th Anniversary Celebration and Volunteer Appreciation Shabbat Service

On Friday night, March 2, 2012 hundreds of synagogues across the continent, including Beth Chaverim, will take part in an historic national Jewish event to celebrate what unifies all Jews — Shabbat!

Everyone is invited...singles, couples, families - all ages, to join us for an International Pot Luck Dinner and a joyous Shabbat Service where we will celebrate Beth Chaverim's 15th Anniversary and honor all those who have volunteered at Beth Chaverim over the years to make our "House of Friends" the wonderful community that it is today.

Quick reminders:

1. Dinner will begin at 6:00 pm followed by a Shabbat Service at 7:00 pm (open to all, even if you don't attend the dinner) followed by Oneg Shabbat (reception).

2. Those attending the dinner are asked to bring a potluck main dish (to serve 8-10 people) and a bottle of soda or juice to share. The potluck dish may be a family's traditional food or simply a favorite international recipe.

Please adhere to Beth Chaverim's food policy - food served cannot contain: nut products; pork or shellfish; or milk & meat mixed together in the same dish.

Beth Chaverim will provide the paper goods, salad, bread, and dessert.

3. Reservations for dinner MUST BE made by FEBRUARY 24th so that we will know how many people to prepare for.
