Bar & Bat Mitzvah Programs

Beth Chaverim offers a comprehensive B'nai Mitzvah program, which focuses on guiding our children toward becoming responsible members of the synagogue and Jewish community.

Our approach is interactive and begins with a meeting during the 6th grade year with the B'nai Mitzvah families and the Rabbi and the B'nai Mitzvah Committee. During the meeting, we discuss this special time in a student's life as well as Beth Chaverim's requirements for the parents and students as described in the Bnai Mitzvah Handbook.

The Bnai Mitzvah committee also facilitates the assignment of dates and coordinates training with our qualified tutors who will be assisting your child during the 20-week period of preparation for the Bar or Bat Mitzvah service.
