Beth Chaverim Reform Congregation (BCRC) is a young and
extremely dynamic organization located in eastern Loudoun County,
Virginia, approximately 30 miles west of Washington D.C. BCRC was
established in 1997 by a small group of families eager to establish a
Reform Jewish Congregation in the county. Our membership
now consists of over 130 families who live in Loudoun and Fairfax
counties. We have over 150 children enrolled in our religious
school programs. BCRC welcomes and meets the needs of families of
diverse backgrounds. We offer a variety of services and programs
to encourage participation on many levels. Opportunities for
becoming an active community member are limitless. We celebrate
the traditional rituals as well as create many new ones for our members
to enjoy at their own comfort level. Whether you are single,
married or divorced, young, empty nesters, or seniors, we welcome you
to our House of Friends. We are committed to providing a variety of religious,
educational opportunities for our congregants, including Religious
School for Children in grades K-9, and a B'nai Mitzvah program, post
B'nai Mitzvah Program, adult education classes, interfaith discussion
groups and youth group activities. We hold regularly scheduled
Erev Shabbat and Shabbat services and other religious services
to include the High Holy Days. BCRC consists of some 400 members, adults and children, and
is continuing to grow at a comfortable pace. While a majority of our
members consist of families with young children, we also have a number
of members who are single, married without children, or with grown
children. Most of our congregation lives in the Sterling, Ashburn and
Leesburg areas of Virginia. We have members who come from western
Loudoun County and others who live in Fairfax County, Virginia. |
