Beth Chaverim Reform Congregation is an extremely dynamic Reform Jewish congregation located in eastern Loudoun County, Virginia - approximately 30 miles west of Washington D.C.  Beth Chaverim was established in 1997 by a small group of families eager to establish the first (and still only) Reform Jewish congregation in Loudoun County.  Our membership now consists of over 130 families who live in Loudoun and Fairfax counties. We have over 150 children enrolled in our religious school programs.

Beth Chaverim welcomes and meets the needs of families of diverse backgrounds. We offer a variety of services and programs to encourage participation on many levels. Opportunities for becoming an active community member are limitless. We celebrate traditional Jewish rituals as well as create many new ones for our members to enjoy at their own comfort levels. Whether you are single, married or divorced, young, empty nesters, or seniors, we welcome you to our "House of Friends."

We are committed to providing a variety of religious, educational opportunities for our congregants - including religious school for children in grades pre-K through 12, a B'nai Mitzvah program, an Adult B'nai Mitzvah Program, adult education classes, interfaith discussion groups and youth group activities. We hold regularly scheduled Kabbalat Shabbat (welcoming Shabbat) and Saturday morning Shabbat services, and other religious services and community celebrations.

Our Mission Statement

The Members of Beth Chaverim Reform Congregation will provide the Jewish community with a forum for experiencing the religious, cultural and celebratory aspects of Jewish life, offering this experience in an organized, open, egalitarian environment where all members are comfortable with their diverse beliefs and Jewish heritage. Beth Chaverim will foster the viability of the Jewish people by providing Jewish religious education to our children and providing our members with an active Jewish community in Loudoun County, Virginia, and its surrounding areas.
